Greetings!!
I have a few updates from the site and an update on Woody. I also spoke
with Dr. Carlson this week and wanted to share a true story he told. I've
titled it Testimony from the Tower for lack of a better way to identify it.
Please remember to keep Woody in prayer of course and also be praying for
the board of ECRP. There are many, many, many hours of work going on
"behind the scenes" so to speak and major decisions that are made in
order
to keep this ministry going in the direction God leads. this board meets at
least twice a month and sometimes more than that. Each one is deeply
committed to Christ and feels a sincere desire to be serving in this
ministry. Pray for guidance for each of them, for protection from the attack
of the enemy and that God will bless their efforts. I'm hoping to be able
to let you get to know some of them a little better as time goes by so you
can better pray for them. For now, just know they need your prayers and
appreciate each of you and your MOST important contribution - PRAYER!!

~~ Sunday Project Update
Hello from Kavastu
Another beautiful day. Ice on the windows this morning which took some time
to scrape off before driving. The heater felt good on the way to the site.
We installed the 6" copper strap in the trench around the ATU where we
have
installed the radials. Then the radials were prepared and attached to the
copper strap and then silver soldered. We now have 1/4th of the radials
installed and hooked up.
The tractor was to be back on site at 10AM. At 11:30 it came to the site.
The plow was some what repaired. We were disappointed in the repair as it
was not done very well.
The driver we had yesterday came along in a car and said this man will now
be with you until you are finished with the job. He got in his car and left.
Now the fun begins. Trying to tell this man what we want done as the other
guy did not do well in explaining what we want him to do. Long story short,
he could not drive the tractor well at all and we wish we could operate it
our selves. This guy drives like some people bowl, hooks to the left every
time. We worked with him for a hour and a half and he never did one straight
run. He went this way and that way to the point of hitting some of the other
radials and tearing them out and we had to fix those. We even ran a string
for him to follow but that didn't work either. We gave up as things were
going from bad to worse and we should quit and talk with his boss tomorrow
morning.
This gave us a opportunity to work on the plow. We added 4 pieces of one
inch steel and a lot of welding. We also exercised the torch and a 12 pound
sledge to tune up the plow. Seems it was heading in a different direction
than the tractor.Ok now.
We ran temporary wiring to the guard shack and hooked up some outlets and
the lights.
Aare the guard was so happy. He brought over a new TV and placed it in the
corner on a neat box with a table cloth of sorts on it. Two chairs were
placed in the room too. Making quite a place for him. He was so happy, he
and Hitler were waving bye bye to us as we left tonight.
Jim Carlson, the rewiring of the Austin ring did the trick on elevating the
voltage to the tower lights. Very bright now.
I asked where all the Storks were as I have not seen any lately. I was told
they all left, probably on Finnair. Will be back in the spring.
To bad the frogs didn't leave. Who's going to eat them now? Still many on
site.
Critter report, Many frogs, several foxes, 7 sheep, 9 berry pickers, 3
neighbors and a trouble maker.
We did have some trouble at the site today when a gray van came and a older
man and a young man got out. At the same time a red car also came and parked
where we planned to run the new radials. We asked them to please move their
car and they did. The older man became quite rude and the neighbor (guard)
came over and got into a heated conversation
with the man who said he was going to call the police. Aare told him he was
crazy and to leave. The man then got into his van and left and did not come
back.
And so it was at the site this Sunday

~~ Monday Project Update
Dear Friends
Another great weather day at Kavastu Estonia. Ice in the windshield again
this morning, heat on on the way to the site. Warm by noon. So many pretty
leaves.
The boss of the tractor driver was to be on site and the tractor at 8AM.
Neither was there at that time. At 10:30 the tractor showed up and the fun
began. The driver backed up the tractor to begin the first run of the day
and could not get it lined up straight with the stake Phil had set for him
to see. After 4 attempts we ran the first and only run of the day. We tried
to run a short run in between the long ones and we just tore more out as the
driver cannot drive the tractor straight. This just is not working. We sent
the driver away with the tractor. Later the boss man came and said what is
wrong? We explained that the driver has not been able to make one straight
run and tears out other radials in the process. The boss said that he will
come tomorrow and help us. It seems it's always tomorrow.
Steve went into high speed on the fence around the tower. He could only
install the fence posts where we already have the radials installed. So
holes were dug. concrete mixed and poles were set.
We grounded the inner fence on the guy wires by the guards house.
We saw the neighbor was up and his door open so Boo and I went to ask him if
we can use his tractor to plow in radials. He said no in pretty good
English. I have not seen it run all summer. That's probably why.
Tom was working in the ATU building and the transmitter building. He found
and repaired some of the electrical problems. It seems that some of the
lights were installed with out the starters in them. They work much better
with them installed. Tom found a broken wire in a outlet in the hall way
that feeds several other outlets that were dead. Ok now.
I located a switch problem in the photo cell circuit and it is ok now.
Tom was painting the floor in the transmitter room where it has not been
painted before. He may finish tomorrow.
Phil and Jim worked more on the plow today. Just need a tractor now.
The kitchen floor looks like a road map. That's bad.
Phil and Steve picked up a man wanting a ride today. Guess who? The trouble
maker yesterday no less.
He seemed grateful for the ride.
Monos asked us a few minutes ago to pray for his grandma who is very sick.
Now that's a first. Boo and Tom have been witnessing to him on a regular
basis lately. At least now he is thinking about God and asking for his help.
We really messed up today and yesterday. We are seeing people and they are
waving first before we have a chance. Now that just isn't fair to get the
jump on us.
Steve and Phil were picked up by Monte the ferry driver last night and was
taken to his home. Again tonight Steve went back to his home across the
river. They are talking to him about the Lord and other things. He said his
mother has a bible. We are planning to get him a Estonia bible as soon as we
can. He has several children's books in English and he can read them fairly
well. He is open to talking about the Lord.
Cayla has been attending the local school and loves it. She is gone again
tonight to spend the night at a friends house and go with them to school in
the morning.
And so it was, Today Monday, at the site and here at the dairy.

~~ Woody Update
Dear All:
Woody is still in the hospital in intensive care, although I do not
believe it is necessary for him to be in ICU. He is flat on his back
and doctor will not let him get up, even for the bathroom. He sits to
eat and that's all. I am unable to find English language magazines, so
he is reading his favorite book! He is comfortable and well cared for.
They have him in ICU because the assistants speak English and are with
him all the time. The doctors have been very cooperative letting me
come and go and making myself 'at home'. His temperature is now normal
and chest XRAY shows no clots. Leg is now soft and pliable and no more
soreness. All good signs!
This morning the doctor said he must lie flat for 7 to 10 days. They
will do blood tests tomorrow and get him up to see what happens. They
may release him Thursday or Friday and not later than Saturday. We are
changing our airline tickets to come home either next Tuesday or
Wednesday. I'm at the seminary now waiting for FinnAir to call me
back. I think Woody has enough airline miles to upgrade to business
class. She is checking, so that's a relief. I'm saving my miles to go
to Hawaii!!!!!
I fell in the hospital on the stairs today. Hit my face on the stairs,
so I have a shiner!! I think we'd better retire to the rocking chair.
I'm fine, no broken glasses, no broken bones, just another bruise!
Will try to keep you posted. If you reply to this email, Mare will
print it for me. Woody will love to hear news if you write.
By the way, as of yesterday our hospital bill is 650.00 American
dollars. Best place to get sick?????? We probably couldn't pay the
copay for that much in Lodi!!
God Bless to all, Rosie

~~ Testimony from the Tower
At a meeting earlier this week Dr. Carlson shared the story of 2 berry
pickers who had come to the job site to pick berries. They waded into the
swamp and began working around and in the many black-berry bushes. As the
day progressed and night fell, the workers realized the berry pickers had
not returned as their car was still parked nearby. They shouted for them
hoping to prompt their return but to no avail. As the darkness grew, they
heard a rustling in the bushes and before too long saw one of the men come
wading out laden with berries. When they asked him where he had been and
why he was out so late, he told them he had gotten lost. He had stumbled
around in the darkness until he saw lights reaching up into the sky - the
lights on the tower (required for planes.) The men then asked where his
partner was and he said he didn't know. Before too much longer, his partner
also came walking in from the swamp and told a similar story of being lost
until he saw the lights of the tower.
It isn't hard to see the incredible testimony here of 2 men, stumbling
around in the darkness until they saw the light. I'm sure you can all come
up with your own analogies of stumbling around in spiritual darkness until
finding the light of Jesus. Pray for these men whose physical lives were
saved by the light of the tower to now be spiritually saved by the Light of
the World - Jesus Christ!!

Well that's all for today... more to come I hope. Keep praying!!
blessings on all of you and Glory to God in the Highest!!!
