Nothing new to report. Just thinking about where our team is right now. As I write this it is 9:30 PM here so it's 6:30 AM Sunday where they are. They are probably either on the road traveling to the airport in Tallinn or will be soon. They have a 3 hour bus ride from where they are to the airport. What a way to start a trip.... 3 hours on a bus. I'm sure they are all filled with mixed feelings... sorrow as they are saying good-bye yet excited to see us - their friends and family - at the end of this trip.
Please pray for them as they are traveling home and for team 2 who is right now on their way TO Estonia.
Praise God for all the work they were able to get done!!
Praise God for keeping them safe!!
Praise God for all the millions ( 500 MILLION!!!) of people who will hear the good news of Jesus Christ when this project is complete!!
Pray God will prepare their hearts to receive the gospel.
Pray that the seed of the gospel will remain in the listeners who receive it and that it will bear fruit that remains.
Pray for pleasant, dry weather necessary for construction and getting around on the dirt roads for Team #2.
Remember to pray for Craig and Ron who will be working at heights you and I probably would NEVER go to. (Thank you - I like terra firma when my feet are firmly planted on it.)
And of course, pray for a safe trip to and from SF for those who are going over to greet them.
Pray the team is BLESSED by our greeting party.
There is still room on the bus for anyone who wants to ride over. Just let me know - even if you are NOT family members. Friends are welcome too!!
It looks like we will have about 15 team members riding home on the bus and about another 10 or 15 riding the bus over to greet them. There are another 10 or 15 taking their own cars over but it is really hard to get an accurate count. Some will be there for weddings or work or other events and don't know if they will make it to the airport but many are hoping to try anyway. If you can bring a banner - DO!! If you can just bring yourself - that's fine too. If you're riding the bus, meet at Dr. Carlson's home at 6:15. If you're driving over, just meet us at the gate before 9:45. I hope we'll see you there!!
