Estonia Christian Radio Project - 2000 is officially underway.  Please
remember to pray for this group of people as they work together with others
from various parts of the world to build a radio station that will broadcast
the good news of Jesus Christ to an estimated 520 million people.

It was 4:23 when they actually pulled away but the big bus was full of
excited people.  There wasn't a huge crowd there to see them off but there
didn't need to be.  It is the first leg of what will be about 25 hours of
traveling if I have my information correct.

After praying for them on the bus we all got back in our cars and made our
way back to our homes.  As Dave and I drove home I was amazed that I had not
cried when we said goodbye to our 16 year old son.  He's never been away
from home for this long, never flown across country (with or with out us
that I can remember) and especially never gone out of the country.  I truly
expected I would be an emotional basket case - especially with no sleep
before taking him to leave.  I figured all that combined would be a perfect
recipe for tears but surprisingly, the tears never came.  When I realized
that, I also realized that it is only the peace of God that fills my heart
as I think of him going on this trip.  We have watched God put this whole
trip together every step of the way..... why would He suddenly STOP being in
control?  He provided the funds (through many of you) and worked out every
detail even down to a much needed tool belt that CJ's Grandpa loaned him.
Every little thing that matters to us matters to our Father.  What peace
there is in knowing the One who created all of heaven and earth, has the
power to meet every one of our needs and best of all, CARES about even the
little things.

I hope each of you sense this same peace as you pray for your loved one on
this trip.

I plan to send these updates at least 2 or 3 times a week - that is IF I get
any information from anyone over there that I can share with all of you.
Some of you are getting these updates because you requested them, some
because you supported CJ on this trip (CJ is mine and Dave's son) and some
of you are on this list because someone who is on this trip asked me to send
you updates.  If you don't know why you're getting these, just let me know
and I can remove your name if needed.

For now - PRAISE GOD - they are on their way.

broadcasting, you can hear it at http://pereraadio.ee/en/index.html.

"Why do so many Christians pray such tiny prayers
when their God is so big?"       Watchman Nee

Be not conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
