| Peter Puppy is about as cute and innocent looking as one can get without exceeding the bounds of good taste. He is reasonably cheerful and has a better sense of humor than most other cartoon talking dogs--that is, until he is stressed in almost any way, and mutates into a gigantic, purple beast. In beast form, he mauls the thing nearest to him, which is all too often Jim himself. I'd tell you about his origins, but I have heard about a half-dozen conflicting stories on that subject, everything from Peter being from an alternate dimension to being one of Professor Monkey-for-a-head's twisted experiments.
