Bob
Bob was born an apparently normal goldfish on Le Planeta de Agua, (arriba!) but it soon became apparent to him that he was more than your average aquatic denizen.  He was, in fact a talking goldfish--the only talking fish on Le Planeta de Agua. (arriba!)  Sinking into despair upon the realization that he was the only fish on the planet blessed with speech, he made his way to one of the meager continents, and upon peeking onto land, he was met with a tremendous surprise.  The dominant species of animal populating Le Planeta de Agua (arriba!)  was a breed of large cat, the superlativity of the size of their muscles rivaled only by that size of their brains, big and small, respectively.  The cats saw that the fish was far smarter than them, and revered him as a god, and naming him Bob, for lack of any better title.  They gave him his own fishbowl, and their undying and unquestioning loyalty.  This caused Bob's already overinflated ego to balloon to epic proportions, and Bob ruled the cats with an iron fin. His right hand feline, #4, is with him at all times, and usually the means of transportation for his fishbowl.  #4 is usually given less dangerous assignments than his companions, and is sometimes treated marginally less abusively than his kitty comrades...could it be that Bob, beneath all of his belligerence, egocentrism, and insensitivity, really cares about another creature?  I doubt it, but hey, anything can happen.  Cats # 1, 2, 3, and 7 have already gone to cat heaven, (where milk flows like water and the mice are slow) but the cats left under Bob's control are but pawns to his lunatic whims.  Bob, convinced of his own greatness, harbors dreams of ruling the universe.  He commonly commands his scaled brethren to go forth and destroy, but they never obey.  Bob has left his homeworld and ransacked Terlawk on occasion, but in general he stays confined to Le Planeta de Agua. (arriba!)  Let us hope that his mad dream of universal domination is never realized.
