VIEWING THE TASK SCHEDULER LOG
For the most part, you're taking the
Task Scheduler's word for it that
work is being done. Would you trust an
employee to get everything done
without at least checking up on him or
her every once in a while? No,
you wouldn't. And you can check up on
Task Scheduler, too, by viewing
the Task Scheduler Log. Go to Start,
Programs, Accessories, System
Tools, Scheduled Tasks. Then go to
Advanced, View Log. You'll find a
lengthy text file that details every
recent action of the Task
Scheduler, the time and dates the
tasks were run, and whether Task
Scheduler was able to complete the
actions.
