The first thing that you have got to realise is that various guys are different. But in general, men are proud, self-conscious, and have to be the Alpha male. So if you really want to open your man's ears, you have to be careful what you say. Men love to hear how they have helped you, and to be reassured of their prominence in your life. Tell him how important he is to you, but be sure not to sound like a whipped puupy, as this may give him an erroneous sense of superiority. Even though it is good to submit and give in to your man once in a while, it is not healthy for him to think he is your slave driver. Do you want to know a few tricks? If there is an area in which he is lacking, constantly compliment him on how much he has improved in that area. If you want him to spend more time with you, tell him how loving and caring he is and how you're glad he's spending more time with you than anyone ever did before. Speak things that are not as though they were. This will actually set into motion these things within him. So don't be afraid to inform a man how wonderful he is. We need confirmation just as you do. |
