The Archibald Felts cabin was built in about 1815. It was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Sam Houston Watkins, who then donated it to the Kentucky Museum in Bowling Green in 1980. The cabin was carefully moved from its original site near the Gaspar River in Logan County, Kentucky, to the campus of Western Kentucky University.
