Even though buying a laptop can be very expensive, it can also be very useful and more compact than a bulky computer. It can be used for schoolwork, searching for important information on the Internet for a research report. One of the most important benefits from getting a laptop is the fact that less room is needed for storage.

A laptop can be very helpful in working on homework assignments. It would be a great way to impress the teachers with typed and neat work, making their jobs easier when reading and grading papers. Typing a research paper would be easier then writing it with pen because it has the ability to erase and add anything at any time without making a mess and having to rewrite it again. At the start of every school year, teachers begin most teachers begin their first class by explaining that they prefer typed work better than written work. It�s because it makes it easier to read the work. Many of the assignments I�ve handed in have been handwritten and sometimes I am pressed for time, therefore I don�t pay attention to how neat my handwriting is. I feel that if a teacher does not understand what has been written she/he will give out a bad grade. So if I had typed up those assignments I would have definitely gotten a better grade. Typing the work can also be very useful because it can be saved and when needed it will be only a click away.

The Internet has become the most used device for information throughout the world. Therefore it would be best to buy a laptop to have access to all those helpful resources on the web. Usually, when I have to write a long research project for school I go to the library. First, I have to search in the library for books on the subject. Second, I have to look for those specific books. Third, I have to look to see if those books have useful information I can use for my project. Looking for these books can take me hours. Instead of spending too much time looking for specific books to help writing a long, complicated research project why not just type the specific subject on the internet and I would have all the information I could possibly want at my fingertips. Now instead of waking every morning from my peaceful sleep to go outside and pick up a newspaper, I can just research for it on the web. Not only is the Internet helpful for finishing research projects on time but it can also help relieve back pain. Why carry those bulky old books around when you can get the same information faster, easier, and pain free.

One specific reason why buying a laptop is a smart move is because it does not take a lot of room. You know how we only have one computer in our house and I�m the only person left going to school, so I�m the one always on it when you need to use it. Well, getting a laptop can solve that. Wouldn�t you think it crazy to carry around a computer? You would have to carry the monitor, the modem, the mouse, and the keyboard. With a laptop, however, I could get all those things in one, making it easier to carry to a desired location. So instead of being stuck at the desk, where you won�t be able to do your work, I can go to my room and work on my homework without disturbing you. When finished using, I�ll be able to put it in a drawer or a safe instead of leaving it out on the desk, this makes it harder to damage. I have decided to try to help you out with as much as I can, so I will start saving up some money from my part time job to help you pay for it. You might also be worried about the monthly expenses; I will provide the money for an Internet connection, so you don�t have to worry twice as much.

A laptop is a very important tool to have. It would be a great device helpful for school purposes and the relief of extreme back pain. Even though it can be expensive, its many uses are worth it.
