When The Wind Blows

No ones there
Yet they are
Invisible to the eye
A girl is moaning
Screaming
Crying
And no one does anything
No one cares
The laugh at her
And the wind is blowing
Tearing limb from limb
From trees
And near the window
He is sitting
Brown hair cascading down
His eyes accented
His voice drowned out
By wind chimes
That scream as loud as the girl
Candy
Red and sticky sweet
Comes from hands that caress
Another
The scent of wine
Nearly strong enough
To overcome the girl
There is a baby somewhere
Forever trapped
In heartfelt squall
Mother stands
But never gets there
And I
I am sitting
Watching
Taking it all in
Afraid to speak
Afraid To shatter this snapshot
A picture of
Invitation
A picture of
When wind blows
