One complete monstrosity in this field is Webspawner. I went to this site while I was still running my original Complaint Newsletter site on Expage. About six months ago, Expage had problems, so while they fixed them, I had to make a provisonal home for the Complaint Newsletter. Webspawner is probably the crappest website provider I have ever seen. I mean seriously, it's amazing that such a stupid service exists on the Net. There are only a limited amount of features on Webspawner. All the text is black and at a pre-determined size. You can only choose seven different backgrounds for your page. And that's not all, oh no! You can only put on six different links and you are only allowed to put one (yes, that's right, only one) picture on your site! What kind of a crappy system is that? Well, I tried it for about a week for my temporary home for the Complaint Newsletter and within that time, my background was gone and I was bombarded with a barrage of Webspawner propaganda in the form of "innocent" pop-up banners and HTML buttons. They even incorporated a link on my link section! My Complaint Newsletter page on Webspawner collapsed and I was forced to move elsewhere. However, I did create a Games site on Webspawner. In reality, it's pretty lame but by Webspawner terms, it's a masterpice.
After the collapse of the Complaint Newsletter site on Webspawner, I thinking about moving to somewhere else. Expage had not fixed their problems yet and I was getting desperate. Then, by chance, as I was playing these games in Miniclip, I was confronted by an ad by another free "website provider", this time, under the name of Webradium. Well, I said, I might as well take a look. At first, all looked promising. On Webradium, you are given a selection of about 50 backgrounds to choose from. You get to select what features you want, but these were basic like counters or multiple pages. Then you sign up for it and you're on your way. It had very good features, but then, much to my dismay, it was discontinued after seven days. Why? Because I had to pay fot the site to get these good features. Well, I was outraged! I had nearly finished transferring information from the Expage site to this new one. So, I decided that for the time being, I had to shut down the Complaint Newsletter. This happened for about two months.
During that time, a lot had happened. I created several other different and crappy sites before I started wondering "I wonder if Expage fixed those problems yet?". Well, just before this, I had to re-install Windows on my computer for some reason that I can't remember, but nevertheless, when I returned to my original site on Expage, there it was; in good and operational condition. It was ready to start writing again, but then a thought came to my head....
