When I went there, I noticed that there were about 10 or 15 students already waiting by the door. At first I thought I was lucky, since it appeared that I had come early, but in fact, when I looked inside, the hall was filled up completely! Then a teacher was asking these students outside the door for some sort of "yellow ticket" in order to get in. Now, never in my time at PIG was anyone required to get a ticket for entry. You could just walk in to the meeting, even while the politician is talking. I was confused, so I was about to ask this teacher if I could go in, since I was a full member. But before I could do that, the teacher said that there was no room and that we had to leave. Behind him, he shut the door.
Now, naturally, I was outraged. I even yelled out an obscenity, much to the shock and surprise of my fellow students around me. For the rest of my lunch time, I went to the library to borrow some books about Shakespeare's King Lear for my Theatre Studies project.
What angers me about this whole episode the most, is that out of the entrie school of about 1300 students, only about 15 or 20 of these are full members of PIG. Logic would dictate that all of these members would have gotten a seat. Well, I did not. And another thing that annoys me are the 50 or so students from the other school who came to the meeting. I mean, DON'T THEY HAVE THEIR OWN HALL?!!! AND WHY CAN'T THEY GET THEIR OWN POLITICIANS TO COME AND TAKLK TO THEM?!!!
I'm not angry at the leaders of PIG for doing this. The teacher that sent us away, while a full member of PIG (although not one of the group I mentioned, since he's a teacher) is a bastard any way. I mean, he's a Geography teacher for God's sake! But they people I hate the most are the 80 or so other non members, who came to my meeting and took my seat! I mean, they only came to see someone famous. They didn't give a damn about the politics involved! They should all go to hell.
Next time I go to a PIG meeting, and a similar thing takes place, I'll just punch everyone who stands in my way. Why? Because I don't want some punkass Year Nine kid who's a non member take my seat!
