Linux Support
If you are a Windows user you may have questions about applications or games that Linux supports. Unlike Windows, where you buy software such as Office, Linux already contains some of its programs with the distributions. Star Office and Corel Office are popular word programs that read/write Windows format documents. Most other applications can be downloaded or bought for a reasonable fee. Linux also uses a graphical user interface, (GUI), such as X-Windows, Gnome, KDE.
