The names Bond, James Bond. James Bond 007 the MI6 agent licensed to kill. 007 was created by Ian Flemming, his name came from a Book on the Birds of the world written by James Bond. Ian Flemming created Bond to calm his nerves before his wedding. The first ever actor to play Bond was Sean Connery in Dr. No (1962). This year is Bonds 40th anniversery.
