Children's Programming: Supervise children on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights in the daycare and nursery rooms at Hope House while their parents attend classes. Need to be available from 5:30 PM until 8 PM. Tutor children in educational subjects on an as-needed basis in the children's resource room at Hope House.
Budget/Employment Co-Partners: Volunteers from the community who serve in pairs and meet with two residents every Thursday night while the residents are in program. They discuss budget or employment skills using curriculum adapted from a program in Dallas, Texas. Need to be available from 6:30 PM until 8 PM on Thursday nights.
Office/Outreach Assistance: Provides routine office help as well as assistance in the clothes closet and food pantry. Assistance can be provided between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday.
Holiday Events: Assist with special events throughout the year such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Contact the office if interested.
