Ms. Flora Darling

St. Botolph's village fete was opened again this year by Lord Arthur Christian, in good spirits as always and having first go at the ferret roulette. Lord Arthur was ably assisted by his goddaughter, Mrs Flora Darling with her delightful little girl, Jessica. Mrs Darling, a VAD during the last war, certainly ensures that Lord Arthur is his usual spritely self and, perhaps more importantly, that he doesn't have one too many drops of Mr Lambkin's homemade fruit punch! Lord Arthur had generously donated a bottle of single malt for the tombola, while Mrs Darling's strawberry jam quickly sold out, which was some consolation for only receiving second prize in the sponge cake competition!
