| Mission Statement and Goals The mission of our program is to reduce the feral cat population of Tecumseh and the surrounding area through the humane approach of managed Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) . Eliminate the use of euthenasia to achieve cat population control . Limit the birth of vast numbers of kittens born to intact feral cats from adding to overpopulation through aggressive, managed TNR efforts . Provide community education regarding TNR and the positive impact that it has on citizen complaints and quality of life for feral cats . Develop a network of foster homes for kitten care and socialization . Work in collaboration with the municipal government, animal welfare personnel and the community as a whole to achieve the goals of cat population control. |
