I have a lot of sympathy for the dog owner here, because I own two dogs and have inflicted the same plague of sometimes-incessant barking on my own neighbors. I'm trying to train the dogs now, and the neighbors have been wonderfully patient and understanding. If the person who owns the barking dog mentioned in the listserve would like some recommendations for dog trainers, I'll be happy to provide some names.

From: Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place
<cchfp@cchfp.org>

Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place provides help
to our homeless neighbors in Northwest Washington, DC. We provide
outreach, a drop-in center, healthcare (both medical and psychiatric),
case management, shelter and transitional housing, and permanent
housing. It is because of the amazing support of community members
like you that we are able to provide all of these services.

Spring E-Wish list

Spring greetings from Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship
Place.

The list below contains items that our consumers use and need right
now. A donation of any of these items will be greatly appreciated.
You will find the complete "wish list" on our web site, www.cchfp.org.

large sizes).
3. Travel size shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, and
hand lotion.
4. Combs, tooth brushes, disposable razors, nail clippers, and nail
files.
5. Tea bags and fresh fruit.
6. Ponchos for those rainy days ahead.
7. Small day packs, book bags or back packs for our consumers to
carry their personal belongings.
8. New or nearly new sheets for twin size beds.

We also have volunteer needs. Zeke's House residents need help

Zeke's House also needs volunteers to prepare and deliver weekend
meals and to help with the yard work this summer. There are other
volunteer opportunities and you can visit our web page for details.

If you have any questions, want to make a donation or wish to become a
volunteer, please contact Bill Long at (202) 364-1419 ext. 23 or

I am an AU Park resident who has worked with a variety of trust and estate lawyers over the years and can without hesitation recommend our neighbor Julia O'Brien at Furey Doolan and Abell.

I highly recommend Kirk Durance, Durance Plumbing. We had exactly the problem you are describing. Kirk was able to respond to our call quickly, did the job competently, and was reasonably priced. We used him on one other occasion and were very satisfied then as well.

Kirk's contact information is: 202.359.4015 or 202.270.6663. He was originally referred to us by the realtor from whom we bought our home.
