Thank you Susan. It really does make a huge difference
in the life of a poor child. Many of these kids don't
normally get out of their neighborhoods, let alone go
to a quiet, safe, park-like place on a river.

Glover Park Transportation Study - 6:30-8:30;
Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Guy Mason Rec Center

From: [email protected]

DDOT is proud to announce that the Glover Park Transportation Study
has begun.

Throughout the study, DDOT will provide information to the study
website found here:

http://tooledesign.com/projects/gloverpark/index.html

DDOT will hold the first community meeting for the study on Tuesday,
May 15, 2007 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the Guy Mason Recreation
Center (3600 Calvert Street, NW). We request as much community
participation as possible to make the study very informative.

DDOT will also hold a community walking tour on Saturday, May 19, 2007
from 10 a.m.- noon for a review of critical intersections in the study
area.

Lastly, we ask that you take the following study survey:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=708373814477
to assist with some of the concerns you may want to see addressed.

Toole Design Group has been hired as the consultant for the
transportation study that will last for approximately nine months.
