REMINDER: Ribbon-cutting at Fort Bayard Park this Saturday

Posted by: "Mary Kwak" [email protected]   mkwak

Fri Apr 20, 2007 9:54 am (PST)

If you're looking for something to do this weekend (April 21), come out to
the new playground at Ft. Bayard Park in AU Park --

Join Area Neighbors and the National Park Service

For a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrating the New Playground at Fort Bayard
Park

Saturday April 21*, 10 am – noon

Fort Bayard Park, Corner of Western Ave. and River Road, NW

After many, many years of hard work and planning, we finally have a terrific
park we can all enjoy. Bring the kids, enjoy the new playground and listen
as the Chief Ranger speaks about the history of the forts in the area (the
National Park Service has promised a very kid-friendly talk!).

Coffee and bagels will be provided.

*Rain date: Sunday, April 22

cleanup (trimming, edging, mulch etc..) for a reasonable price?
Please repond to: blommmamma@hotmail.com

Our babysitter just moved away so we are looking for a new one. We'd
like a mature, reponsible, non-smoker who has experience with and
enjoys caring for and playing with children! References needed. Please
respond to blommamma@hotmail.com
Thank you!

New Pet Food Recall & Web Sites

Another HEALTHY food effected.

From: "Lori" <[email protected]>

The Blue Buffalo Company has undertaken a voluntary recall on one
production run of our Spa Select Kitten dry food. The production code
on the recalled product is:

"Best Used By Mar. 07 08 B."

We have taken this action because the rice protein concentrate tested
positive for melamine.

Everyone check the WEB BASED ingredients of your food for rice
protein...the newest ingredient to be infected. Companies have 60 days
to change lables on cans but the web ingredients are more recent. This
is what happened with natural Balance.
