10/30/02: For those who have been a bit out of the loop, CCR has broken up, go HERE to read a bit more about it almost all of our stuff is now up for free at mp3.com/commie we still have CCR/I Belong splits left there are also some at Atomic and Earwax a swell as several other random record stores across America including Bound Together in San Fransisco. As for what we're up to now, well, breifly, Giff goes to UWM college and has an industrial band with Rob of I Belong which I believe he is the main songwriter in and I beleive will be ready to debut shortly; Tony works at Amaco for now, plays drums in Doombuggy and A Supreme and the Electric Mayhem and bass in Panic Attacks and Pelvic Thrusts, he is also moving to texas soon for a short while; Jake works at Atwater , plays bass in A supreme and the Electric Mayhem, drums in Panic Attacks and Pelvic Thrusts as well as other projects, and will also be going to Texas for a while. We're all of course on normal talking terms and we all still share an undying love for Postulio. thank YOU. End Final Transmission.
p.s. here's one last little gift to you, courtesy of CCR and Willy....
8/24/02: Directions to last show every is in SHOWS section, short notic though, its at 1:00 PM today, thats a couple of hours, GO< RUN! more stuff coming tonight...
8/14/02: Back in Milwaukee now, it's good to be home, a heartfelt thanks to everyone who booked our show, let us sleep and make food in their homes, tradded coupons, danced, bought stuff, donated, talked with us, and helped us, there were a fucking lot of you! It's no use even pretending that everyone doesnt know about what I'm about to say, so here it is in your face: Communist Conspiracy Rhythms broke up on 8/10/02 in Minnesota. Our last show is a birthday party for our friend on August 24. Email us if you want to come out and we can ask her if it's cool. Everything is cool between us as people, some things were just getting out of hand. But expect new projects from Giff, Tony and Jake soon. As for CCR now, check back soon for a tour report and to see about our last show and any last minute details, like what we're going to do with CDs and MP3s and such. Oh yeah, by the way we still have some tour CDs left over, so if anyone wants to purchase either tour cd go to the anb tour site and see which one you eants and email us, they are $3 a peice or $5 together, and we still have I Belong plits left for $5 a peice. And anyone who signed up for our mailing list previously is getting a special goodbye thingy...
7/22/02: Hello all from ARIZONA. We're already over three weeks into tour. WOW! We've met many awesome people and played with some great bands. I think it's a toss up between Texas and New Jersey for best shows and awesomist people. I'm going to update the page @ anbzine.com so go there for some more stuff. We should be back in town around August 20, so look for a homecoming show very close to that date. See everyone in Milwaukee in a couple weeks!
6/27/02: We leave for tour on Saturday, first show with Fork Knife Spoon in Rockford. I just finished packaging our two tour CDs (thanks to Ivan) and im in the middle of folding thousands of sheets of paper for our free lyric/explanation/art booklets. An MP3 of I Wither As You Rot will be up on the mp3 site as soon as its "approved". A tour page with max info will apear at anbzine.com. I have lots of stuff to do so I will see every one later. Anarchy carpet is the best movie I have ever seen, Lost Film Fest was the bestest....
6/17/02: The cover of the TKA split is up, and speaking of that, the 7" is not happening (at least not NOW) but we are putting out 100 CDRs of that material for tour, including extra CCR and TKA songs, along with 100 tour CDRs of the newest recorded material. I put as much info as I could up about the tour all info will be posted before tour incase you want to meet us somewhere on the road for a internation dance party. In case you want to get copies of our cds or stuff while we are gone, get in contact with Urban Squirrel Records and email CCR and we'll tell you whats up. We could still use some help with tour, so you have any connections hook it up. We are playing a show tonight at the Barnyard (i think 2647 Peirce in riverwest) so i have to go, and remember, even though it may look tempting, "the Wash" is in fact a really bad movie. If you have to watch a movie, watch Natural Born Killers...
6/2/02: The CD split w/ I Belong is at Earwax now. The lyrics to of Requiem and Regret are up in the lyrics section. Our next show is this Sunday at the Monkey House for the release of the Auscultation tape which contributed "Noisemaker" to, details are in the shows section. I will put tour info up soon (promise!). We recorded yesterday and today with Ben again, this time four songs (Of Requiem and Regret, Nescentis Mormor (i spell horibley), I Was a 13 Year Old Masochist, I Wither as You Rot) and they sound a lot better than either of our other recordings due to our tightness as a band and other stuff. We are most likely going to be releasing these on 100-200 cdrs for tour and after that who knows? The seven inch sleeves are printed and done, but the vinyl sure isn't pressed! We dont know what will become of this record, so stay tuned.... Now sing with me: SCHOOL IS OUT FOR SUMMER< SCHOOL IS OUT FOR EVER>>>> WE GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS PLACE, IF ITS THE LAST THING WE EVER DO...
5/23/02: Hi, well lots of updates. Lyrics to I Wither While You Rot is up. Our split CD w/ I Belong is available at Atomic Records for $5 and will soon by at Earwax. TWO NEW MP3s for you FREE listening pleasure, Full Body Collapse, a track on the upcoming 7" split w/ the knifing assessment, and Emancipation Itch, a track off an upcoming comp. We will also be giving away some free Emanicipation Itch tape singles soon, maybe, so look out! We've also got two new shows coming up, one next Friday May 31 at Alissa's House check out the FLYER, and one the Sunday after on June 9 for the Auscultation tape release, which we contributed our song "Noisemaker" to it's four bucks to get in plus a tape! check out the FLYER. We are recording June 1+2 with Ben Wojak again, this time doing four songs (the only 4 songs we have left to record) which will go towards varouis comps and unplanned releases, maybe to be out by tour. This Sunday we get our record covers for the split. Soon we'll send it to be pressed. I think thats all for now. PARTY HARD.
5/1/02: Well, I just posted a little more info on where to get directions and stuff for the show on Friday, please come out, it will be fun. The CD is officially released and we will be going to Earwax and Atomic with it very soon so watch out! Also, sorry for the lack of tour info, within several days I'm going to post what dates we have and the info on them so far.
4/22/02: By the way, the REAL flyer with dates on it is up, and Q and not U kicked ass last night, go get their new 7" and while you're at the record store pick up the !!! full length.

4/14/02: Hello, i've just gotten home from recording with Danny F. We recorded "Alive" (going to the 2XCD Milwaukee Comp coming out in the Fall 2000 copies) "Hospitalistic Children/Exterminating Angel" and "Full Body Collapse" (both going on a split 7" with the Knifing Assessment 1000 copies) and our brand newest song "The Emancipation Itch" (going to a Chicago based CD comp organized by Billy from Fork Knife Spoon 1000 copies). We're really excited about these songs, we think that both the writeing, performance and recording were a bit better then the split with I Belong (which is finally available). I'' write more when I'm not so tired. Me so sleepy.
4/9/02: A quick sidenote: some webpage viewers may notice some things that were not written by members of CCR on our webpage. We sometimes feel that certain things express our feelings good enough as it is that it would be pointless to repeat (as in the CrimethInc. buyer beware) or that we borrow a few lines of someone else's poetry for song lyrics (as in the title and the first line of "Hospitalistic Children/Exterminating Angel", as noted by the "qoutations") because we feel it fits the topic. Please refer to the text of Days of War, Nights of Love, especially the chapter on plagarism, for an explaination. Just a quick note (but not really news)...
4/8/02: A few updates, the flyer for the show this Friday is HERE with an addition of the band the Complete Bastards to the show. Our CD release show is scheduled for April 29, at Jake's House with Code Orange, Moc Poi and one other TBA. Thanks to Karin, we have pacthes for FREE please come to a show and get one, or if you order the CD (send $6 to 4023 N. Bartlett Ave. Shorewood WI 53211) we'll send you one free (as long as there are some left). See the patch HERE, they come in black fabric/white lettering and white fabric/black lettering. This design was originally supposed to be the cover of the CCR/I Belong CD but we redesigned the packaging so we used the screen to make patches instead.
4/3/02: New show added, we're playing next week Friday at the Punk Mahal go to the shows page for all the info. This won't be our CD release party, but we'll probably have it anyways to sell. So expect us to have the CD release party sometime in late April/Early May, same with the Auscultation tape comp release party. We're recording on April 13 and/or 14 with Danny F. We'll be doing our two songs, "Hospitalistic Children/Exterminating Angel" and "Full Body Collapse" for our side of the split 7" with the Knifing Assessment, as well as maybe doing the song "Alive" for the double CD compilation that is coming out in fall. Sometime before summer we'll most likely be recording with Ben again, but what will we do with those three songs? Any suggestions?
4/2/02: Guess what Cd I'M listening to right now? YEH, YOU GUESSED RIGHT, THE NEW CCR/I BELONG CDS GOT HERE TODAY! They look great, and so far they sound great. Me and Jake got all of the booklets printed, they will be all stapled and folded by Friday. The bags are here and we have the stickers printed for the bags, so these can all be assembled by Monday at the LATEST. ROCK!
3/26/02: Lyrics for "Full Body Collapse" are up in the lyrics section. Also, for info on the upcoming Noisemaker tape comp "Ausculstation" that we are contributing the song "Noisemaker" to, visit . We recorded "noisemaker" last wednesday with Jake's minidisc recorder and it sounds great. More info soon.
3/24/02: The explanation for "Hospitalistic Children/Exterminating Angel" is up. Also, if you go to the RECORDS section, there is some info on our second release that will be a split 7" with the Knifing Assesment (who is playing a show next Saturday, March 30, at the American Legion Hall in Shorewood). We would love contributions to go into this project, so if you think you have something that would go good with what we're doing, email us ([email protected]). We are still trying to book our tour, info on that will arrive shortly, if you can help out go to the TOUR page and check out what we're looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
3/23/02: ATTENTION: we have an emergency Public Service Anouncement brought to you by sXd hXc.
2/25/02: The CDs are being pressed as I write this, and what's more is that we're getting 500 copies instead of 300. We're printing booklets tonight. Watch for an early-mid CD release show, along with a show with Leval Blessing, one at the 8th Note (maybe both put together), and a benefit show for 104.5 pirate radio at the Bogra House. Sometime within the week we will be recording our song "Noisemaker" for inclusion on the Noisemaker Records "Auscultation" tape comp with Tyler, live on his Mini Disc player. Sometime mid-april we will also be going into record at the Crossover house with Ben again, this time about six songs. One ("Alive" probably) will go on the upcoming double CD milwaukee comp, the other two new songs are going on a split 7" with the Knifeing Assesment, and the other three will probably go on some sort of tour cd. We have some dates of the tour booked, I'll put them up as soon as I'm sure about them. I think that's all. I'll see you at Wu Tang.
2/25/02: The flyer is up on the opening page for anyone coming out to the show on Friday, it will rock hard with Le Dig and IfIHadAHiFi and I Give Up (the bands i cant wait to see, along with all the rest of the amazing fucking bands), i urge everyone to come and help out Peace Action Center. Also, if anyone wants to help us out by recording our songs, putting out our records or booking us for tour this summer,we'd more than welcome it. We've gone into the preliminary planning for a 4-5 week tour this summer starting late June. For more info, check out the TOUR page. If you can help us out at all with dates or places to stay, that would great. Further more, after asking everyone for so much help with everything, please feel free to ask us anything you like! Oh yeah, i was walking down the street the other day and some kid was like "Skull Death?" and i was all like "Yeah? Whatever!"....
2/20/02: Our CD is coming out! We're printing booklets soon, and getting 300 CDs (yes, NOT cdrs) pressed soon, so hang tight! I put up a bunch of new stuff, mostly the info on the March 1 PEACE ACTION benefit we're playing. Check it. A little birdie told me skull death...
2/15/02: Another quick post to say that lyrics to our two newest songs are up in the lyrics section, explanations coming soon, and we're playing tonight at Alissa Murohy's house, the address is somewhere in the shows section, we're probably opening at 5:00 and we're going to be playing some new stuff and hanging out to see Code Orange, the Bezerkers, Angry Daisies and Falling Rhythm. Other than that, stay tuned for more news!
2/2/02: Hello! A quick post to tell everyone the how next saturday IS on at the MONKEY HOUSE in riverwest, more info in the shows page. PLEASE, if anyone knows where we can get 200 REAL CDs pressed for cheap, contact us! Thanks!
1/23/02: Hi everyone! We got some shows coming up, one for sure at Jake's house on the 2nd, one maybe at the Murphy's on the 9th and on in early March to Benifit the Peace Action Center. CCR will try to write and record a new song (Noisemaker!) for a comp being put out by Jake and Tony. More info on the whereabouts of the comp soon. Our CD seems like it won't EVER be out. But I only said SEEMS. The booklet is completely designed, we just need to print these fuckers (they may be on CDR, lame i know, because no one will press 200 for cheap) and if anyone has any tips for painting onto DVD cases, we'd love to here them. The collage me and Jake did for the CD is up and so are two essays that will be included in the CD booklet. Stay tuned, because we super villians are always on the move!
12/20/01: Tommorrow's the big nightmare before christmas, so be there with your awesome tim burton costum. new pictures from the west bend and loggemann center shows, and new lyrics to our very newest song are up. check it! the cd is on it's way, it'll take some time, so we'll set up a show here and one in minnesota sometime in january for it's release. we have a show new years eve at the punk mahal, rock! we'll be playing a very special song so don't miss it and be ready to rock, old school...
12/14/01: We're playing the Loggemann Center tonight, it starts at 8:00. The show that was supposed to be tommorrow got cancelled because i don't think the pierce street house is doing shows anymore (which really sucks). I endorce going to the big show at the miramar tommorrow, because code orange is playing, and so is good boy suit (best band ever), or there's an angry daisies/sand show in slinger. We got a show next week, the nightmare before christmas show. we havent made any fliers because bands keep on getting piled on and such, but we'll have em soon. The pressing of our cds is in limbo untill jake gets back from winter break and we aren't in too big of a rush because we already can't have them out by the show this weekend and next weekend. Oh well, we'll keep you posted. A quick and hearty thanks to Garret and those in Madison, last weekend was mad fun. Madison is great, with it's metal record stores and it's tiny zoo streets...
12/6/01: You know, you hear all the storys, and you just always are like, "No way man, that won't happen to me." But then you try and put a cd out, and it does happen: delay! After several crackpots claiming to put out our cd for 120 bucks or something, we're still looking for a place to press it. Fuck! We wanted this out by this saturday, hopefull, if we get in full motion, it'll be out by the logemann show. Well, on the brighter side of things, we have a show this saturday in madison, email Garret, who's setting up the show, for more info. It should be fun. Since jake has joined the band we've only played out of milwaukee once, in west bend. more news on everything latter....
11/23/01: All the info for the Logemann center show is up. So are flyers for that show and the one that Gifford made for the Halloween show. Be warned: the halloween flyer got cut off because it was too big for my scanner. Also, we may be playing in Chicago next weekend. And we also may be on a big Milwaukee compilation CD. More info on everything once I get it...
11/18/01: OK, we got more shows coming in, I'll update later, put up a page for our record and future releases but I'll have some of the awesome artwork and essays up soon...
11/14/01: Well I'm sick, so I didn't go to see Jello Biafra speak in Madison. But it's all good, because we've got lots of shows coming up: one at the Pierce St. house with Modern Machines, one in Madison, perhaps one at he logermann center, and the Nightmare Before Christmas show! More info on all of those soon... One of them will be our CD release show. I talked to Rob tonight, he is going to have the CDs pressed by December, and send us the I Belong info for the CD so we can start constructing booklets this weekend. More info will be posted as it comes in...
11/7/01: Explanations for "Conformity of Decay" and "I Was A 13 Year Old Masocist" up. I now have a job (I Know, it's lame) which means we're that much closer to getting a van to tour in. Hooray! I sent the master to Rob today, which is one step closer to getting our CDs done. Rock! (NO ROLL)
11/6/01: O.K. First off, there is NO skate park show, I don't know the details, I just know it isn't happening. Sorry to all who may have been planning to come out. Second, we do probably have a replacement show for Saturday, in West Bend with Pro-D., I have no other info than that, but if I get any I will put it up on the site. THIRD: Rob. made a site for the record label, Urban Squirrel Records (formerly Red Star(red) Records), which will be releasing the split CD. Check it out in the links section. Forth: the show on sunday was fun as hell, many thanks to Sand and Paula for putting it on and inviting us to play.
10/30/01: Lyrics for "I was a 13 Year Old Masochist" (drum break down song) have been added to lyrics page. Rock! Work on our cd progresses slowly but surely, and we are planning to get shows out of town and out of the state to start promoting it, so look for Madison/Chicago/Minnesota/other outings in November/December /January. That's it for now...
10/29/01: FOOD NOT BOMBS benefit show is definitly happening at Giff's house, there is an address on the shows page. Also, check out our new songs! Two of the new songs that will be on the I Belong split CD are up on our mp3 page, mp3.com/commie.
10/25/01: OK, we got all the info on Halloween, check it out on the shows page. Other news about shows, the FNB BENEFIT will be relocated from the Murphy's House to either Gifford or Jake's house. More info as soon as we get it. The skate park show starts at 11:00 at night. There are some awesome full page halloween posters Gifford made that we're putting up everywhere, i'll get them up on the site soon. Thats it for now.
10/20/01: Yo! We got a little more info on shows up now, and the flyer will be put up as soon as I get a copy. Spooky halloween show is going to be in FULL effect. I took down the quicktime movie on the opening page because it took way to much memory up so only like 5 people could visit the page before it would shut down. The picture NOW on the opening page is one that Jamie gave us at the Mixkalania show (thanks again Jamie!). We got the master back from Ben, and it is SUPER RAD. We are all really fucking excited about this split. I put two new songs on the MP3 page for you all to check out, but they won't be "approved" for another couple of days. I just heard I Belong's new recordings for the first time, and the songs they recorded are probably a combination of their most aggressive songs ever and their popiest songs, both types of songs being awesome I Belong goodness. All that's left now is pressing and art. Rock! (NO ROLL)
10/18/01: First off, the show we were supposed to play last Saturday got rained out. I don't think I've gone to one show at the Port Bandshell where it hasn't been a shitty day out. Well, even though that show would have been cool to play, it's kind of all right because we're playing a show with Sand, along with the Angry Daisies and Murder in the Red Barn at the Murphy House (address and info on shows page) to raise money for the Milwaukee chapter of Food Not Bombs, who are desperate need of rent and supplies money, not to mention volunteers. Which reminds me, they have a website: Right Here, so click for more info. We're also playing a halloween show with Pro-D. and another as-of-yet unknown band at Emily's House in Whitefish Bay, and another show on November 10 with The Gleanors at 4 Season Skate Park. More info for each of these shows will arrive soon, so check the shows page. We just got word back from Ben yesterday that our master for the new CD is done. Fuck yeah! Now it's off to the pressing plant as soon as we get a design for the actual CD. Hey, do you have a good title for the CD? I don't even know if we are going to have one, we can't think of anything. A couple ideas we've being shooting around are "Emo Rock Stars Are Here To Stay" "Glitter, Makeup, and everythings that's really, really Fun" and some others I can't think of right now. If you got any, email us and hook it up. I think that's it for now, you all better be at U.W.M. 8th Note Cafe tommorrow at 8:00 to see my man Mixkalania tear the roof off that mug. Word up.
10/13/01: Ok, if you were planning on seeing us at the Fat Cat Cafe, check out the shows page for the scoop. It got moved to the Port Washington Bandshell. I forgot to mention a interesting bit of info, at the recent Code Orange/Sand show at the Sauxville YMCA, Code Orange covered Bruno the Big White cow becaue they were sick and tired of requesting it at our shows and just getting tricks and wit in return. Mad props to Code Orange for being great and funny guys! I hoped you liked our special performance of Bruno at the National coming out day show. One last thing: our plans for a Halloween show are very uncertain. We aren't playing the Halloween Masacre (but we will be rocking out and dressing up), but there is a plan for a October 27 show at our friend Emily's house. I have no idea what the details are on that, it will probably be us and Pro-D. playing. More info soon! Check ya later!
10/6/01: Well, we just finished our day of recording with Ben and I think it sounds awesome, I'm very happy with it. Now we can get the ball rolling and do some art (expect rad and cool packaging). Hopefully we'll have these babies done within a month or so. We've got a couple of new shows lined up. Check it out, yo!
9/25/01: Hello all! The show on Sunday was super rad, besides my Guitar strings detuning half steps in both directions, my pedal being shitty and my cords being slippery. We got some exciting news, at least we're excited: On October 6 we're going in to record a bunch of songs with Ben of the Modern Machines, which will end up being on a split CD with I Belong. I Belong recorded a bunch of their new and old songs that didn't go on "Memories Captured Through Technology" and those will be on their part of the CD. It's probably going to be an I Belong vs. CCR type deal with super cool hand done art and 200 copies will be made for the first (and possibly last) pressing. More news on that as it comes about. CCR is trying to plan an anniversary Secret Show (October 13 will be a year since we started doing basement shows), and it will be totally halloween themed if it happens, but there is also a possibility that we may be playing the second annual Halloween Masacre show with Blindfold Parade and Since By Man, but who knows? We'll just have to see what the hell ends up happening. Lyrics to "Destroy the Monster and Build Something New" added to the lyrics page. That's it for now, bye!
9/18/01: Welcome to the new CCR website. We have a show on Sunday, details in the shows section. We're playing with The Modern Machines and The Fleshies, whose new record just came out on Alternative Tentacles. We are planning on recording our first real release with Ben of the Modern Machines within the next few weeks, and our first release will either be a self made seven inch record or a split CD with I Belong on Red Star Records. More news and updates to come soon!
