WHAT IS AN RPG?
An RPG is a "role playing game." Remember that character you created? On this message board, you post as if you were that character, describing it's actions and conversation, all while following the plot you're given. You interact with others and basically attend Hogwarts. I'm a member of several RPG groups myself, and it's quite fun!
An example of a post would be:
*Enters the common room, sits down by the fire.* "I can't believe this has happened!" she says.
Use the * symbol around actions, and quotation marks for speech. Control only your own character; interaction is half of the fun!
I've posted the other basic rules at the top of the board, so whenever you're ready, go on over and start posting!
Oh, one more thing. Hogging a plot is considered rude. The idea is to work together to save the day, not to prove that you can come up with a solution on your own the fastest.
