Well, last year season three was a-go. But one of the companies that funds the production of 2030CE, Telefilm Canada, yanked the money because "the shows producers didn't comply with certian demands set by the company." But we are told that there is hope for more 2030CE: while the producers are still trying to get the show off the ground, we can sign a petition, and I have a letter writing campagne in the works. You can discuss the fate of 2030CE in the message board.

The season finale of 2030CE season two has aired today! The episode was entitled "Reunion" and it was a wonderful conclusion to the second season, (sorry, no spoilers here, just incase someone reading this has yet to see the episode.) There have been reports of a confirmed season three, which is expected to start filming durning the summer, sometime after the snow melts. You can discuss "Reunion" in the message board here.

Corey Sevier's (Hart) new show, Black Sash, premiered on March 31 on the WB. Corey was busy filming this show while the first part of 2030CE season two was being filmed, but he came back for the second half of the season. Black Sash was canceled shortly after its premier, about seven episodes into the show. It is unknown weather or not there will be a season three of 2030CE, and weather Corey Sevier will be prusuing other projects at the time.

2030CE (season one) wins an award for best children's program: it was up against Guinevere Jones, Cool Jobs and Canada � la Carte. Go 2030CE! Yay! Also Tatiana Maslany (who plays Rome) won an award for best leading actress (in 2030CE, season one), and she was up against: Micheline Marchildon as "Alex" (Inertia), Sarah Constible as "Laura" (Inertia), and Tamara Hope as "Gwen Jones" (Guinevere Jones). Way to go Tatiana! Michal Grajewski (Rat) was nominated for an award as best performance by a supporting actor (season one), but he lost. Maybe part of it is that they listed his name wrong: "4 Rat"?! Here's the website.
