Dear Journal,
I'm falling in love with Ashton. He's not all that cute but it is his personality that gets me everytime! He's told me that he loves me time and time again. But what does the term love mean anymore, espescially to a non-believer? It seems like the word love has gotten out of hand. What use to mean a deep affection for someone has turned into a saying like "It will be okay."
I really dont know what to do. I have dated non-believers before and the relationships are horrible! It doesn't even make sense why I would want to be attracted to him.
Todd is old news, I liked him, but I dont think that I could stand being around him as much as he requires time being spent with his girlfriend.

Dear Diary,
I haven't seen Ashton in 2 days and its tearing me apart! What am I going to do over the summer, not seeing fim for 2 months is going to be really hard!!! I can't believe all I think about with him. It's definately not me! Why the heck do I think all these thoughts? Compromising is one of them. He's really sweet, and although perverted sometimes, he really is nice! The only thing is: he's not a Christian! How can I love him?

Okay so school is out! But that means heartache because of Ashton. He is not coming back to my school next year :( I just want to cry about that. In the long run however I think it will be better for me since I wont have the heartache for him. I am learning and growing in the Lord. What I really need is a very biblical mentor. Dont get me wrong, I have a mentor, but she seems to be struggling in the same areas that I do and I cant have that if I truly want to grow. So I will be looking into some others. I keep thinking the pastor of my new church would be great, but I really dont think that would work because he is so busy.
