Riley Quest

v

X- FACTOR

Single Match

referee: Sean Hayes

Lisa Parker: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled one fall. First, making his way to the ring, weighing in at 216 lbs, Riley Quest!

"Sober," by Tool begins to play, and the crowd gives out a collective yawn as Riley Quest appears at the top of the ramp. He makes his way to the ring, yelling and screaming at the fans. They pay him no mind.

Lisa Parker: And his opponent, weighing in at 204 lbs, X FACTOR!

"DX," by the Kings starts to play, and the crowd falls asleep. X Factor makes his way to the ring, but before Sean Hayes can call for the bell, Lisa Parker continues.

Lisa Parker: I have just been informed that we are going to have a special guest ringside assistant. Manning the ring bell, ladies and gentlemen, one of the UwF owners, Tim Shady!

James Brendon: Wow, Riley Quest and X Factor can't be feeling too good about that.

Paul Masters: Yeah, he threatened to fire one of them last week if they didn't impress him. I guess he wanted the best seat in the house.

Tim Shady appears at the top of the ramp, as the fans suddenly wake up and start cheering. He smiles, and waves cheerily at everyone. He makes his way to ringside, and sits down at his designated spot, next to the ring bell. He looks at Sean Hayes, and when he gets a nod, he taps the bell.

Riley Quest goes on the offensive, and rushes at X Factor. They lock up, and Riley Quest puts X Factor in a headlock. X Factor counters, and reverses the hold. Riley Quest backs up, and pushing X Factor into the ropes, goes for a ride. Riley Quest bounces off the ropes, and comes flying at X Factor. X Factor backs up, and uses the ropes to send himself flying towards Riley Quest. They meet in the middle of the ring, and a double clothesline takes both men to the mat.

James Brendon: Look at that. They took each other down.

Paul Masters: They also took the entire arena down. Looks like everyone is asleep out there.

Both men get back to their feet, and lock up again. This time, X Factor comes out with another headlock. He sends Riley Quest flying towards a corner turnbuckle. Riley Quest crashes into it, and his back arches. X Factor charges, looking for a clothesline, but Riley Quest gets a boot up, and into the face of X Factor. Riley Quest hops up on the second rope, and turns around, looking for a flying clothesline. X Factor turns around, and charges, still looking for a clotheline himself. They crash into each other, and another double clothesline sends both men back to the mat.

James Brendon: Are you kidding me? Another one?

Paul Masters: I thought these two were professional wrestlers?

James Brendon: I thought so too.

Both men are back on their feet. They lock up, and Riley Quest comes out on top. He sets X Factor up for a powerbomb. But in mid air, X Factor spins himself, and lands on his feet. He kicks Riley Quest in the mid section, and sets him up for a suplex. Halfway around, Riley Quest spins around, and lands on his feet. He pushes X Factor forward, and sends him flying to the ropes. Riley Quest takes a couple of steps backwards, and bounces himself off the ropes. They meet in the middle of the ring, and another double clothesline sends both men to the mat.

James Brendon: Now this is getting ridiculous.

Paul Masters: Tell me about it. Maybe we should apologize to all in attendance tonight about tonight's match.

James Brendon: Right you are, Paul. And apologize to all watching tonight as well.

Both men get up, and are about to lock up again when the bell sounds. They both turn to look at Sean Hayes, but he just shrugs his shoulders. The bell sounds again, and again and again. It is being hit in frustration by Tim Shady. He stops ringing the bell, and slides in the ring.

Tim Shady: This match has got to stop. I have never seen such a poor execution of wrestling skills in my life. I told you one of you would be fired tonight, and I am going to live up to that promise. X Factor, your performance has been poor, and your work ethic leaves a lot to be desired. You're fired. Please leave, or I will have Mr. Whedon come out and escort you out.

X Factor looks at Tim Shady, then turns, and leaves the ring. He is walking up the entrance ramp, and Riley Quest is sitting in the ring with a smirk on his face.

Tim Shady: Oh, X Factor? One moment. There is no need for you to make that walk by yourself.

X Factor pauses, looking back at Tim Shady, and the smirk disappears off the face of Riley Quest.

Tim Shady: Riley Quest, you have done no better than X Factor. The Ultimate Wrestling Federation is for superstars who want to put the time, and effort, into making not only themselves better, but the UwF better as well. You are doing neither of these. You're fired. Please leave, or I will have Mr. Whedon come down and escort you out.

Riley Quest looks at Tim Shady with a look of anger on his face, and is about to attack him when Alexander Whedon comes flying from out of nowhere, and tackles Riley Quest. Riley Quest is trying to fight him, but Alexander Whedon is just laying into him. Then, Alexander Whedon picks him up, and tosses him out of the ring. Riley Quest takes one last look at Tim Shady, then makes the long walk up the entrance ramp, and out of the building.

Tim Shady: Ladies and gentlemen, I must apologize for that match. It was boring, and both men were obvious amateurs. I promise you, that the rest of the night will not be filled with such matches. Please, enjoy the rest of the show. And, to show you how truly sorry we are, we will be refunding everyone's ticket prices tonight. Have a nice night!

The crowd cheers loudly as Tim Shady, with Alexander Whedon, slides out of the ring, and makes his way up the entrance ramp.

James Brendon: Well, we always say, don't get on the wrong side of Mr. Shady. He is ruthless when he needs to be.

Paul Masters: That's how it is with the happy go lucky guys. You push them too far, and they will snap. Definately not a pretty picture when it happens.

James Brendon: Yeah, and refunding ticket prices? How nice was that?

Paul Masters: You don't suppose that will come out of our checks, do you?

James Brendon: Uh, I sure hope not.

Paul Masters: Maybe that wasn't such a great thing he did...

James Brendon: Folks, after the break, the debut of a special segment, and more action!

Paul Masters: How will I make rent this month?

James Brendon: Stay with us!

After the break: the "Starr Segment" and Piston meets his nightmare.
