After the Headstone Dedication, we repaired to Lake Arrowhead for a pleasant afternoon with food and refreshments. Our day in Page County, Luray, Virginia was very pleasant as we enjoyed the company of the Descendants of Pvt William T. Griffith Sr. |

Griffith for arranging this Headstone Dedication to his Confederate Ancestor Private William Thomas Griffith Sr. Our Thanks also to the Members of the Summers-Koontz Camp # 490 Luray, Virginia, the Members of the Matthew Fontaine Maury Camp #1722 Frredericksburg, Virginia and the Lucy Ann Cox Chapter # 4 Order of Southern Gray, Fredericksburg, Virginia for their attnedence.
The Hospitality shown by the Descendants of William Thomas Griffith Sr. and their attendence were Greatly Appriciated also.
I might add also, that the Venison Bar-B-Q that I greatly enjoyed was very much appreicated, although I now have forgotten your name... I do remember that it was excellent Venison !!!
