A Tribute in Honor of:
Commander Brockington
Commander Brockington (Brock) was named in honor of my daughter Kerry's company officer at the US Naval Academy.  Brock was "sent" to me by Kerry in March '94, three months after her death.
Brock was a true "rescue,"  rescuing me from the depths of despair.

After over 9,000 miles of walks and over 12,000 miles of car travel (in the past 5 years alone), Brock rejoined Kerry on July 1, 2002.  I will be forever grateful for Kerry's gift-- "my bestest friend."

My Bestest Friend
My sincere thanks to Jamie and her Mom, Karen, for creating this site.  Of course the inspiration came from their beloved companion, Bosco.
My heartfelt thanks to all!

Brock's proudest moment was establishing the Grey SEAL Team on May 20, 2002.  Created to provoke a smile amidst the many serious posts, the Team grew to 44 members by the time of his departure.  Missions included rescue, "provision" procurement, and instilling bravery and patriotism. Recognizing his failing health, Brock turned over the leadership of GST to Commander Nike.  It was the perfect choice.

On August 4, 2002 I was asked (Connie) for my permission to rename her newly adopted grey "Brock."  Permission was granted, with my sincere appreciation.
