| valkyrie model - for the ut demo and needs the sound put in the sounds folder to see this model in the game, click on the links below to download |
| go to the admin page to learn how to install these models and how to set up the models for your server, if you have a model installed and you start to download it from a server, press f10 to cancle the download and check your ut folder files to see what went where, like I said, check the admin page for info on what file type goes into what folder, after that just go back into ut demo and rejoin the server and it shouldnt have to download, if it starts to download another model just download one from the site, if I dont have it, check my links to skincity, ram2000, polycount, or identity crisis, not all models work on the demo, the skins of the model go into the texture folder, the model that you download by itself goes into the system folder and all files that where with it such as .u and .int files.. Note - .u files are the actual models |
| open the zip file you downloaded, next put these files into the ut folder |

| 1,000 "kb" is killobyte = 1 meg. in size of the download just in case you didnt know, and thats not big, 100 kb is fast to download |

| The giants mutator does not need to be downloaded by others, this reason is because other players already have the male soldier models installed, its just like the mutator fatboy, it makes you small or very big - it stretches the model, you can also edit the size that you want others to be for how big they get by going to your ut - system folder and opening 404_giants_b2.ini |

| if these models have version mismatch when joining a server with someone that has the same model on the server, try to download the ones from skincity and install them, you usually need the same up to date model as the ones that is on the server or old one, if not that then the server has a file from that model that has been modified - changed,tell the owner of that server that his files are different and to download and install the ones from skincity.beyondunreal.com, just download from skincity, that should work |
| click on the pictures to get bigger images - internet explore 6.0 users, after clicking the picture, put your mouse over the picture and click on an orange box to get the picture bigger :) |

| capture the tree - a tree instead of a flag. remmember that pressing f1 makes snow fall :) |
| minimode - another mutator that makes you small, remmember that some mutators mixed with other mutators don't work depending on what is mixed |
| instadead - if shot in the pinky finger, you will not be killed, just lose lots of health, if the model has a body that you see in dm when you die, your body will fall instead of being shot all over the wall, and the shot is black instead of red |
| ut demo update file - this file will help update the engine for ut 348, this engine patch fix will help fix a few bugs with clients joining servers, if you join a server, your the client, and it helps alot for server creators, it greatly improves cpu - server utilization, connections should be better with this patch for clients and server admins, especially if you have a cable connection and you feel your connection isnt fast enouph for stuff in your server or having server connection problems and same goes with dsl, this is for all connections, it is recommended that even t1 or t3 get this or lan connections as well, don't think for a second that just because its cable... that you won't need this patch, could this possibly reduce the chances of server side lag from so many connections? Could this help increase downloads from your server or downloading while keeping your connection stable at the same time? All these options could be possible, I don't think so but its possible. Read the readme.txt file that comes with the zip |

| trying to get 3 or more models from starwars from a site that isn't letting me, so far I have 5 or more models from starwars for the ut demo and 2 for ut full version |
| you probly see the words hypersnap-dx on these pictures, the reason I used it is because when I press f9 in the game, I get a picture, after that I open hypersnap-dx the program and I convert the picture from .bmp file format to .jpg format, thats because thats the only way I could get the pictures on the web site, and it also makes the pictures very small in download size if I can remmember correctly. |
