The Comerford School is directed by instructor and adjudicator Tony Comerford, TCRG/ADCRG. A champion himself, Tony placed 2nd at the All-Ireland's and the World's before receiving his certification to teach through An Coimisium le Rinci Gaelacha, the Irish Dance Commission. With almost 30 years teaching experiece in Britain, Canada and the United States, Tony commands an international reputation. He travels worldwide teaching workshops and adjudicating local, regional, and international compeitions, including the Great Britain, All-Ireland and World Championships.

Assisting Tony in Oregon and Washington are husband and wife team, Lauren and Jim Mueller. A former Rose Festival Princess (Madison, 1988), Lauren is a two-time Western US Region Champion and six-time qualifier for the World's. Jim is a five-time Western US Region Champion and seven-time qualifier for the World's, having placed 2nd at the North American Championships and 4th at the All-Ireland's. Jim & Lauren toured nationally with Dancing on Common Ground before returning to the Pacific Northwest to assist Tony. Together they appeared on the cover of the December 2000 issue of Irish Dancing Magazine.

Tony and his assistants currently offer weekly lessons and monthly workshops in Portland, Albany, Eugene, and Bend, Oregon; Seattle, Olympia and Tri-Cities, Washington; Achorage, Alaska Vancouver, BC. and California.
