HostTPZena: Good evening, everyone. I'm Zena from TeenPeople.com, and I'm here with the one and only Mario! His first single, " Just A Friend 2002," is #12 on the charts this week, and his very first album drops tomorrow. He's here to take your questions tonight...Hi Mario!

Mario: What's up, everybody? It's your boy Mario here - let's have a long conversation!

HostTPZena: Well, we've got half an hour, so we'll get through as many questions from our AOL and Web users as we can...First up, from PhAtlex87...

Question: Are you going on tour soon? If so, you have to do a show in Richmond, Virginia.

Mario: Well, I'm sorry to tell you this, but we couldn't work out the terms for the Scream 2 tour with the tour promoter. But we are talking to Nelly's people about the Nelly tour.

HostTPZena: It would be hot in therre!

Mario: It definitely would be crazy. I think Richmond would be a real good spot to hit. I heard it's very warm.

HostTPZena: It's warm in NYC today too - too warm! A KidsOnly question from Carrie...

Question: Who taught you those moves in your video? You're hot!

Mario: First, I would like to say - thank you so much. It was choreographed by Lori Ann Gibson and Luther Brown. I'm sure you don't know who they are, but just in case you wanted to know. Do you dance?

HostTPZena: I'm sure she's dancing now that she got her question answered. From PhAtTyGuRl1349...

Question: Mario, you're the coolest person alive - and hottest! I was wondering if you have a girlfriend? And when is the next time you'll be in concert in Connecticut? Thanks, I love you a lot! Bye.

Mario: I love you too, sweetie! I am single. Single as a slice of cheese!

HostTPZena: And we answered the tour question - hopefully, he'll be in Connecticut with Nelly soon. From jelly27_gurl01...

Question: Who is your celebrity crush?

Mario: I have a lot of celebrity crushes. One of the greatest is Jada Pinkett...Julia Roberts...

HostTPZena: Both married women!

Mario: That smile! Ooh! And let me say Halle Berry and Beyonc.

HostTPZena: From Kissesforjrt...

Question: Hey, are you still going to school? What grade are you in? Thanks.

Mario: Well, as of now, I'm not going to school. I have a tutor on the road with me, and I will be going into the 11th grade on a school program.

HostTPZena: From Sleepy1142...

Question: Hey Mario! I think you are a wonderful singer and performer. I was at TRL on June 27th when you performed live. I was in the 2nd row and I thought you did a great job. I have a question - what's next in your career? Are you going to act or anything like that?

Mario: Acting is definitely my third priority, other than singing and school. Thanks for liking the performance, and sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you.

HostTPZena: From Lucky1790...

Question: Have you ever gone out with a fan?

Mario: No, not yet. But I'm not saying it won't happen, because I'm looking!

HostTPZena: From PoohBabyLove...

Question: Are you the prankster type?

Mario: No baby. I'm not the prankster type. I get straight to the point!

HostTPZena: From HottieJessie777...

Question: When you make it to the top, what are you going do with all of your money?

Mario: Invest in something that I love, and I know that will be good.

HostTPZena: Do you want to open your own restaurant? Maybe do a clothing line? (Mario is currently rocking the Rocawear at TeenPeople.com)

Mario: I think I would do a restaurant before I do a clothing line. First of all, I love some good food! And by the way, are there some good cooks out there?

HostTPZena: A KidsOnly question from Ashley...

Question: Were you nervous when you started to make your first CD?

Mario: I was very excited and nervous at the same time. I felt that, since this was really what I wanted to do, it would come easy to me.

HostTPZena: Did it?

Mario: Yeah. It was a lot of fun working with different producers. Alicia Keys is like a big sister to me.

HostTPZena: And there he goes! Mario needs to step away for five minutes to talk to Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97. If you're in NYC, tune in, and in the meantime, Mario's manager, Troy Patterson, is going to fill us in on some Mario details you guys have been asking about. Troy, first of all, a lot of people have been asking how old Mario is, and when he started singing...

Troy Patterson: He's fifteen years old and started singing at the tender age of 4.

HostTPZena: Wow - that is early! Mario will be back in just a few minutes...in the meantime, Troy, how did you guys land on J Records? Oh, hold up! Mario is a superstar - he recorded his Hot 97 bit for Funk Flex and is back! Mario, someone asked how you ended up on J Records...

Mario: I started in a talent show in Baltimore. My manager, Troy Patterson, CEO of 3rd Street, happened to be there, and he knew a guy who worked at J Records. That guy, Peter Edge, introduced me to Clive Davis.

HostTPZena: (Clive Davis is a legendary record mogul who is the head of J Records)

Mario: Clive thought I was the best thing since sliced bread, and now, I'm here, talking to my lovely fans.

HostTPZena: Mario, didn't you sing at Clive's Grammy party with some big names?

Mario: Yeah, everybody was there. Janet, my man Justin Timberlake - I call him by his last name. We sat right across from each other, and he told me that he thought I would last a long time in the game.

HostTPZena: That's quite an endorsement!

Mario: Stevie Wonder was there.

HostTPZena: Did he give you words of wisdom? They don't come bigger than Stevie.

Mario: He was there - he told me that he wanted to do some songs on my next album.

HostTPZena: That would be sick!

Mario: Oh yeah. That would be CRAZY. I would love to do something like that - it would be a dream come true.

HostTPZena: From marylandsfinestpatrice...

Question: Hey Mario. How much would it cost me for you to perform at my party on Wednesday?

Mario: If I ever even have time again to do a party, I would do it for free. I am so busy 24/7 - so sorry. If I could, I would. But have a fun party!

HostTPZena: From X ItALiAnLoVe X...

Question: Hi Mario! OMG You're really hot and a great singer! I was wondering what it's like to look out into the audience and see all those screaming girls, just for you?

Mario: It's a big adrenaline rush, and I want to just go down there and give them all a big juicy hug. But my security wouldn't allow that.

HostTPZena: From mariosluva...

Question: What is your favorite food?

Mario: Caribbean food and soul food are my favorite foods, but I also love to try new things. I went to London and I had some food I really didn't like.

HostTPZena: The British are famous for lots of things, and food is not one of them. From Racheal...

Question: Why did you want to become an R&B star?

Mario: Well, I fell in love with music at a very young age, and nothing has turned me away from it, so I tried to pursue my dreams. Thanks for that great question.

HostTPZena: Mario, what artists did you love as a kid?

Mario: Boyz II Men, Usher, B2K...sike!

HostTPZena: From LadyFizz8885...

Question: Why did you say sike?

Mario: Because they are my age!

HostTPZena: From PluckyduckDet...

Question: Mario, what is your dream girl like?

Mario: First, can I ask - where did you get your name?

HostTPZena: Ah - wish she could answer back, but she can't!

Mario: My dream girl...ah, wow...Someone who loooooooooves you...A girl that knows what she wants, and she a down chick.

HostTPZena: From Mrs swizzy73...

Question: Is this Mario? Because I really don't believe you. You really need to show some proof!

Mario: OK...What do you want to know, sweetie pie!!!

HostTPZena: Well, I can tell everyone that he's sitting here in a gray and white Rocawear suit, eating a dry turkey sandwich, and listening to himself on Hot 97 right now. His white-on-white Nikes are impeccably clean! And his hair, of course, is impeccably braided. On that note...From marioswify...

Question: Do you actually want a girl that knows how to braid hair? Because what if she doesn't and you still like her?

Mario: There's always the hairdresser! And braiding hair doesn't have anything to do with liking someone. But it would be nice!

HostTPZena: Like you say in your song?

Mario: "Braid My Hair" might be the second single from my album, which is dropping in stores tomorrow. And for the first 100,000 people who buy the album, there will be a special poster in there.

HostTPZena: Good stuff - thanks for chatting, Mario!

Mario: To everybody I love - thank you for this chat. Put on your sneakers and find your way to the closest record store near you if you want to find out what Mario's all about. I love you all so much. Thank you!

HostTPZena: And don't forget - through August 2, to enter to win a trip to New York City for a night out at Times Square arcades with Mario himself, visit TeenPeople.com's Win section. Good night!
