Here's another fan encounter from Brittani (also a picture of her and Mario)
i asked my stepfather which concert was a better one to buy tickets to {to see mario of course} and he was like "lemme call Troy n see wut he says" so he did and my stepfather was like "you at the office" and Troy said "yea" n my stepfather was like "well im going to pass through there{pause} is mario with you?" troy said "yea" and my stepfather was like "o he is? ight then imma be there in like 5 minutes" so i was like "IM COMIN!!!" but since i was playin basketball he thought i was gunna go jus like dat so....i prettied up{took a shower n stuff} and then we rushed there we rang the bell to the office n he was like "we'll be right down" and i was tryin to figure out{on the way to the office} wut to say to him when i saw him! so he came out! and i was about to cry!.....so i jus smiled and stayed shut! he came by me after talkin wit my stepfather and was like "hi sweetie{like he didnt remember me}" and he gave me a hug! {a tight one} and then my stepfather was talkin to Troy about sum "business" and me n mario were jus talkin! we was talkin bout our birthdays...how he liked my eyes..and how hes not on the bow wow tour nemore! and if anything they might put him on the nelly, ashanti, and big tymerz tour! and GUESS WHAT!!! he invited me to six flags wit him! {im NOT tellin u when!, but ill type that one up too!}.......then he WANTED to meet my mother....so we went to the car and ase were crossin da street a car was about to come flyin down n hit me! and was like"watch for the car!" and i was like "na im supposed to be protecting YOU" and he said "na cuz u never know wut could come flyin around that corner" {he is so caring..awwwwww} so they{my mother n mario} were talkin {boring} and then he gave me ANOTHER hug goodbye and thats it!...until next time this is Britt�ni signing off with "close to mario"!...lol sorry i DIDNT give him my number or email address...but i will bub bye!]

well my name is brittani and i attended the new york showcase at the china club on june 17th....i kinda got connections wit mario cuz my stepfathers cousin is his producer Troy Patterson....and um the day b4 the concert my stepfather had called him to see when i would be able to meet mario {i had plenty of opportunities but i was either busy or my stepfather was busy} and Troy said "well we're outta town right now but he is having a showcase at the china in NY tomorrow if u wanna bring brittani there" and my stepfather said "ok ill do that she'll be so excited, by the way is he with you now?" and guess wut.....he was omg omg omg...and he put him on the phone and i couldnt speak....i had the chance to talk to MARIO and i couldnt speak! well he said "hi dis is mario" and i was like "omg omg omg" and he said "may i ask who this is?" i was like "oh um this is brittani" and he said "i heard ALOT about you" and i said "really? well i know ALOT about you!" and then he said "well i gotta go so ill see you tomorrow at the showcase and maybe we could chill backstage" and i said "yea yea yea omg omg omg"!! so the next day we went to the showcase which started at 7:00 but he didnt perform until 9:00 so i was walkin around standin around and i saw AJ and Free!!! me and my stepfather were asked to sit in the VIP section but i said NO i wanna see MARIO up close! lol so yea he came out and performed and i took pictures! and {he doesnt know how i look} he kept coming to me and holdin my hand and singing to ME omg.....i was like wait until he finds out i was the girl from the phone and the girl he was singing to in the audience....and then after his performence clive davis came out for the 2nd time and mario was behind him just standin around and he looked at me and smiled and shyt i smiled bak!!.....so i went backstage and he was looking at pictures from previous high school tours that he has done and pictures of his little brother! {i know im being too detailed} and then he came over by my and was like hey shorty and gave me a hug and then i was like im the girl from on the phone and he was like o forreal and gave me another hug!.....and then he signed my album sampler and we took a picture together....and no1 knew how to work the camera so i was stuck posin wit him holdin me for like 2 minutes!!......OMG well yea thats all and my stepfather and Troy are tryin to setup a lunch date....ill tell you guys about that encounter soon!

Last night was so much fun. I almost passed out but that's ok. First I'm the only fool in the very front singing all the words to every song. So when he's doing "Braid My Hair" I start screaming like I had just lost my mind right. That Just happens to be my favorite. The first time I heard him do that song I was just standing there completely captured. And luckily for me he ended up having to do that (and all the other songs) over again that night. Any way....he gets to my favorite part in "Braid My Hair" you know that part that starts off "Do what u wanna do...." Why he come stand right in front of me, look down at me and start singing. Whew!!! I'm standing there thinking like "Boy if I was 5 years younger it would be on" LOL. That was the second song he did. he opened up with "C'mon" which makes u just wanna get up and dance. Then after "Braid My Hair" he did "What Your Name Is" And then...the song that has solidified his place in music history "Just A Friend." That song is hot. Man the first time I heard that song I was tripping like "hey who is this." Then the incomparable Mr. Clive Davis gets on stage for the second time. He gives this speech about his Grammy party this year and how he asked Mario to do this one song. What he said had me ready to cry, and I didn't even know what song he was about to sing. He just spoke of him in such a way that you couldn't help but be touched. So Mario finally starts singing the song and I (again) am ready to fall out. "Knocks Me Off My Feet" Has long been one of my favorite songs. Mario has this voice that just captures you no matter what he's singing. I mean he could sing "Mary had a little Lamb" and it would make u wanna get up and go find you a lamb.
