What's the big deal?
The Big Gig began in 1989 and aired on the ABC on Tuesday nights. Regular Cast members included The Doug Anthony Allstars, Wendy Harmer, Glynn Nicholas, Anthony Ackroyd, Jean Kittson and Paul Livingstone. As well as comedy routines, the program featured musical performances, with The Swinging Sidewalks being the house band.
