| SHY BOY was Bananarama's fourth single, although it was their first in which they were alone and out in the public eye. Following the success of their earlier singles 'IT AIN'T WHAT YOU DO' and 'REALLY SAYING SOMETHING' with the Fun Boy Three, it's fair to say that the boys helped boost their popularity. It payed off when their first professional attempt saw them at #4 in the UK Charts. |

| THE VIDEO The video starts off with a weedy-looking guy, (Terry Sharpe - Sara's boyfriend at the time), who decides to let the 'Nanas giving him a make-over. The make-over consists of washing his hair, filing his nails (nice filing there, Keren) and taking him to the gym. At the end of the video we are left with a 'stud' who then goes off with his secretary. The 'Nanas are not impressed and chuck buckets of water at them. WATCH OUT! For Keren's rubbish aim, in which the bucket flies upwards and Sara and Keren cower in fear as the bucket is set to land on them! =) |
