LONG TRAIN RUNNING
Origionally recorded by 'The Doobie Brothers', Bananarama teamed up with the Gypsy Kings to produced they're third single from POP LIFE, LONG TRAIN RUNNING. The girls decided to record the song after seeing the old record in Youth's record collection as they needed another song to finish their fifth studio album. Sadly, the single did not chart as well for the 'Nanas as it did previously, and stalled at #30.
LYRICS

Down around the corner, half a mile from here
You see them long trains running and you watch them disappear

Without love, where would you be now?
Without love

You know I saw Miss Lucy down along the tracks
She lost her home and her family and she wont be coming back

Without love, where would you be right now?
Without love

Well the Lilino is central on the southern central freight
Gotta keep on pushing mama, you know they're running late

Without love, where would you be now?
Without love

Well the pistons keep on turning and the wheels go round and round
And the steel rails are cold and hard for the miles that they go down

Without love, where would you be now?
Without love, ooh, where would you be now?

Baby, baby, baby, baby, wont you move it down
Keep on moving, gotta keep on moving
Without love, where would you be now?
Without love

Baby, baby, baby, baby, wont you move it down
Keep on moving, gotta keep on moving
Without love, where would you be now?
Without love

Baby, baby, baby, baby, wont you move it down
Keep on moving, gotta keep on moving
Without love, where would you be now?

THE VIDEO

The 'Nanas are dressed in Spanish period clothes and hang around in an old Spanish castle eating a large banquet. It's very stylish, and the 'Nanas look like they're having a fun time. During the song, we intercut between them singing in their bedrooms, to the banquet, to some headshots of each member singing.

WATCH OUT: For Jacquie flashing her knickers to the other 'Nanas! Naughty Jacquie.
