| AIE A MWANA |
| AIE A MWANA was Bananarama's first single, and, although it didn't exactly set the charts on fire, it certainly did get noticed. It was after this single in which Terry Hall, of Fun Boy Three fame, noticed hte girls and invited then to d backing vocals on his new single. The song was originally recorded by the group Black Blood, and was one of Siobhan's favourite songs. The girls then proceeded to sit and listen to the tape over and over writing down the words phonetically. To this day, Keren and Sara have no idea what the lyrics were or what they meant. |
