 THE FOL De ROLS

DENNY WILLIS appeared with the most venerable concert party of them all, The Fol De Rols.

Founded by George Royle at the Floral Hall, Scarborough, in 1911, they continued to perform until 1975.

Among the many performers who started their careers with the Fols are ARTHUR ASKEY, ERIC BARKER, LESLIE CROWTHER, DAVID NIXON, JACK WARNER and ELSIE & DORIS WATERS.


 THE DENNY WILLIS SHOW

ATV 10.20pm - 16 - 23 June 1962

DENNY WILLIS appeared in his own sitcom on ATV in 1962. Two 30 minute shows telling the story of the misadventures of the stage manager of the Sedgewick Empire.

With:- JOHNNIE MACK, JANIE MARDEN, & BILLY McCOMB


 PANTOMIME

He appeared in many pantomimes, mostly in Scotland in such theatres as The Glasgow Empire, The Glasgow Pavilion and His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen in December 1984.
 
 
He got many of his ideas from his father, Dave Willis, who performed many comic sketches in theatres around Scotland and must have been a big influence in his sons career.
