THE MEMBERSHIP

In order to become a member in HA, each prospective member must go through the following steps:

  • The prospective member must book an appointment to attend the FREE trial class or to observe a training session. (to book for an appointment call 647.219.4058)
  • The prospective member must be at least 12 years old. if minor, parents or guardian must accompany their child/children.
  • The prospective member should be 15 minutes early on the day of his/her appointment to sign a waiver prior to entering the training area and participating in trial class
  • The prospective member that will participate in trial class must wear appropriate clothing such as loose comfortable t-shirt & track pants.
  • A water bottle & hand towel is recommended during training session.

After the trial class the Instructor will evaluate the performance of the prospective member. If the prospective member is fit and qualified to join the organization he/she will be requested to fill-up the application form if he/she is still interested in joining.

REGULAR CLASS

The Class is about 2 hours. consist of warm-ups, variation of exercises & it involves techniques that require training with partner. Class size ratio is 1:10 and has mixture of different age group from 12 and up. Class subjects varies from time to time focusing on different aspects of self defense. (i.e. Striking Concept, Defense againts knife attacks, stick-ups, clubs, mugging, gun point, multiple attacker and much more).
