Four surface units (destroyers) and three submarines of the Peruvian Navy carry out naval exercises









Suddenly a surface unit, the B.A.P. Villar, detects the presence of an intruding submarine.
Not far from there the chilean oil tanker Almirante Montt [possibly] provided close support to the submarine










Destroyers of the Peruvian Navy attack the intruding submarine.
With the attack the spy submarine suffers damage to its sail










After the attack it is detected that the spy submarine manages to flee wounded.
Intelligence of the Peruvian Navy obtains information that said submarine was of Chilean nationality: The Thomson SS-20
