Fender Trimming
(This procedure applies to both Cherokee and Comanche Models.)
        Tools Needed
Sawzall, Jigsaw or Body shears
   Sheet metal Blade for saws
   Pen or Marker
   Tools to remove Fender Flares

Gain
This mod. will slow more articulation roome in the front wheel well area making room for bigger tires
Warning
Be very cautious and meticulous when performing this mod, as possesed pieces of shrapnel  may gash the hell out of you.
Step 1: Take your pen or marker and make a line onthe fender tracing the top of where the bumper corner wraps around to the side fender. With the fender flare still on continue this line on to the fender flare. This will be your cutting guidline.
Step 2: Remove the fender flare and metal fender flare bracket.
Step 3: Use your desired cutting tool. I preffered the Jigsaw, and cut your fender according to the guidline you drew earlier. (using the jigsaw i was able to sneek its guid past the bumper while cutting, other tools may require to remove the bumper or bumper corner pieces to complete this
step)When you get to the front most part of the cut (toward your hazzard lamp) it will take a little
longer to cut as you will note the sheet metal is thicker plus the cut is deeper, so make sure u have a decent length blade.
Step4: When you finish the cut look underneath you will notice the body brace still holding to
piece you just cut in place. this brace will need to be either cut, or unbolted. Purely preference.
Do not cut or remove brace all the way to the frame!
Step5: Cut fender flare on guidline you drew earlier and trim metal bracket accordingly.
Step6: Reinstall fender flare just the opposite as you removed it at the begining of the project.

Extra: As u can see i added some stick on door molding to my fender after i was done. This
is purely optional not a nessecity but it does hide the sharp edge and any burs that might
show giving you a nicer look to your trimmed fenders.
