I am appalled by the fact that the Columbus Dispatch decided to endorse George W Bush especially since Ohio�s economy has greatly suffered the consequences of his negative leadership.
As a mother I certainly do not feel safer with George W Bush in power. Actually I have never been more afraid. John Kerry HAS a real plan to get us out of the mess that George W Bush put us in. All we have to do now is give him the chance to prove everyone once and for all that he has the skills to lead this country to the right direction. John Kerry brings hope to millions of mothers in this country, including myself. John Kerry will lead us in a smart way, not by impulse. He will build strong coalitions in the world to help fight the war on terror more effectively. John Kerry knows that it is important to have great allies and great intelligence. John Kerry will keep us safe by making sure that all borders, chemical and nuclear plants are secure and that all cargo is checked. John Kerry will keep us safe while protecting our personal liberties and without putting thousands of innocent lives at risk.
I wish the Columbus Dispatch had listened to their readers a little more and realized that this is not a political game. This election is the most important election in the history of this nation and the world. Mothers are frightened, some members of the Arab/Muslim community feel prejudice, families are falling into debt because of skyrocketing healthcare costs, or because they have lost their jobs shipped overseas. Wake up and take a stand. Take a stand for the only option we have this election, and that is John Kerry.
