                Past Gigs.

yesss, the gig at the Bull and Gate was wicked, cheers to everyone who came, even though we spent most of the day undrground, and had the usual keyboard troubles, it was still fabulous.

27th January - The Soundhaus, supporting The Research
wow, we have our first gig away from the slums of northamptonshire coming up, although we dont know too much about it yet, but its exciting anyway. thanks to all who made it on xmas eve, it was special.
Christmas eve - The Labour Club, did you have a columbus and crusoe christmas?
12th September - Life, Wellingborough, don't worry, we got home all right.
24/11/2005 - Yes we're still here. It's all been a bit hectic, recently, with some of us moving to the big smoke and what not. But we've got some gigs lined up in Northampton, and expect some London gigs in the near future as well.
See you soon.
9th September - Buzz night at the Soundhaus.
8th September - Verses For Nurses at the Racehorse
29th August - Outdoor alldayer at The End, those final summer grooves were felt, quite shambolically well, now theres an oxymoron for you.
columbus and crusoe in the press: that's right, first of all, in today's chronicle and echo (friday 16th september) you can read that same review of the soundhaus gig as on the bbc northampton website by the lovely natasha house, next months edition of the fly, available at hmv, may also contain a sentence or two about us, and finally, the next issue of the local mag, blank stares and cricket claps should have an interview... so get reading, its educational and all that.
7th August - outdoor alldayer at the end - were you there for the summer grooves?
5th August - masterz of budvar, the labour club we assumed correctly
28th July - kainerface at the picturdrome with the wow! scenario and kapowski
and so chris and lee are off to uni, studying in and around london, jack heads to northampton for his first year, and james carries on his work as a low key superhero. Our last gig for a while will be on saturday at the soundhaus, but don't worry, after having a couple of very good months, we are going to carry on, and we hope to record a few songs, soonish, and have the occasional gig around northampton, and hopefully in the capital, with our clever members being in that area.
17th June - Soundhaus, with the retro spankees and thomas truax... hopefully...
5th April - The Labour club with Paul Cox supporting
4th March - The Labour club, with Pat Fish, and Ramon De Juan (woopeee!)
8th Jan - Strumpets and Pluckers accoustic night, with INVOCAL and rosie wilby
we have been described in a recent pulication of the chronicle and echo as being ten times more enjoyable than belle and sebastian, which is a good thing we think, because belle and sebastian are fantasico!
Shade your face (you're british) has been used amongst other songs from other lovely local bands including mooch in a wonderful film entitled "gloss" by a guy named russel who teaches art film at northampton college.. which is nice
Thanks for all your help guys, we managed to reach the number 1 spot on the final week of the weekender chart.. woo
