What is Junior Miss?

The Junior Miss motto, "Emphasis on Education", is the foundation on which the entire Junior Miss program and experience is built. The Columbia Northeast Junior Miss Scholarship Program continues to emphasize education by recognizing, rewarding, and encouraging excellence in young women with scholarship dollars to further their education.

The focus of this program is to encourage personal development in all people through the
Be Your Best Self program and to provide an opportunity for scholarships for young ladies who attend school or live in the area zoned for Richland School District Two, Columbia, South Carolina. .

At each level, be it local, state, or national, the Junior Miss Program believes the young woman ultimately singled out by the judges is "a representative chosen from a group of winners, not a winner selected from a group of representatives." She represents the outstanding qualities of all the women participating in the program.

How to Participate

Contact the chairman to recieve a packet of information and forms.
