ICNG Info.



I had ICNG in the summer of 2003. This page explains the procedure I had done as I understand it. I base this information on the operative report I received after the procedure. I believe the ICNG will be different depending on where the original ETS surgeon cut the trunk.




  • No pleural adhesion was found

    		•




  • Divided & opened sympathetic trunk at the upper border of the 2nd rib

  • Divided the 3rd intercostal nerve, digital end


    		•




  • 3rd intercostal nerve pulled up extra-pleurally and connected to the upper end of the sympathetic nerve at the upper border of the 2nd rib
