Columbia Tower is operational from 0700 until 2100 local time - 365 days a year. When the tower is closed after 2100, Columbia Radio/Automated Flight Service Station provides the Columbia Airport with Local Airport Advisory Service (LAAS) on the tower frequency 119.3
AIRSPACE:
When Columbia Tower is operational, a Class D airspace surrounds the airport. This Class D airspace is an approximate 5 mile radius around the control tower and extends upward to and including 3400 MSL (2500 AGL). When Columbia Tower is closed, the airspace reverts to a Class E airspace.

WHEN COLUMBIA TOWER CLOSES:
When the tower closes at 2100 local, prior to your arrival or departure at Columbia Regional Airport, ensure you check in with the Local Airport Advisory Service (LAAS) provided by Columbia Radio on frequency 119.3
Pilot-operated runway and approach lighting is also available on frequency 119.3
