Re: Ordinance violation—storage of inoperable motor vehicles PartofSW%SW'A,Sec. l1,T13N,R9E
Town of Fort Winnebago, Tax Parcel 229.A

Dear Mr. Smith,

On September 27, 2005, you were notified of a violation of the Columbia County Zoning Ordinance relating to the open storage of inoperable motor vehicles on the above-described property.

More recently, on December 8, 2005, we have observed that only one of the six apparently inoperable vehicles
observed on September 27 had been removed. Having received no response to our earlier notice, and
observing insufficient improvement to the site in order to find it in compliance, we believe we have no
alternative but to proceed with additional enforcement action at this time. An ordinance citation has been issued; your copy is enclosed.

For information as to your rights and options in responding to the citation, please contact the Clerk of Courts at
608-742-9641. For information relating to the ordinance requirements or any discussion as to bringing the property into compliance, please contact this office.

Sincerely,

Michael Stapleton
