She doesn't know where I should be,
I must help Her figure it out.
Living life after life, trying to solve the puzzle;
One world and life too harsh and stern;
A second, too soft for its own good.
A third, still not right but with aspects I desire.
The fourth, closer still, yet the solution still evades.
A fifth completely chaotic and nowhere near close;
I begin to wonder just how much more this puzzle will take.
To solve it, my task, for however many lives.
Slowly in my mind as I live each life,
A picture in my head begins to take shape.
Some of this life; that part from that one.
Nothing from this one, and a couple from over there.
The picture becomes clearer, as I show it to Her.
We try again and another life must I endure.
I don't know how many lives I've lived
Or how many worlds I've been to.
I figure all I have to do is keep trying, never give up
And one day the puzzle complete will reveal where I should be.
And She'll put me there at last,
My fantasy world puzzle finally complete.
