The Cleveland Caveliers travel up to The Palace at Auburn Hills to take on Grant Hill and the Detroit Pistons. The Caveliers are crippled, mamed, and I think they have been run over as well. But, at 34-27.. Coach Fratello has them still in playoff contention.. even after letting John "Hot-Rod" Williams and Mark Price go. Oh, did I mention that Michael Cage, Terrell Brandon, and whoever have been nice enough to join perrennial bench-rider Brad Doughtery on the bench with injuries.
Doug Collins has the Pistons rock-n-rolling in Motown( at least by Pistons standards!) Grant Hill is in the mix, also with Joe Dumars doing his steady thing.. the Pistons are on a course for the playoffs. But ,thats not the story.. The Pistons were just a game behind the pack for 4th place in the East (along with the Hawks, Cavs, and fading Knicks).
Tip-off is at 7:30 local time. Look out for those Piston fans.. they throw octopi, ya know. Oops, wrong sport!

Umm. Err. This is an " Oh by the way " Game . Sorry Hornet and Raptor fans. The Hornets scrapped this season a long time ago. Alan Bristoe is looking forward to next year, as well he should. Actually the bees are 9th in the East, and with the Knicks falling like a rock, the Hornets might slide into the postseason. If so.. they will face the Bulls and get rail-roaded.
If I were a Hornets fan, I would be very excited at the prospect of next season. With this years acquisitions including Kenny Anderson, Glen Rice, and Matt Geiger.. I would be waiting for this season to end, and 96-97 to begin!
Well Isiah, the years almost over, pal. Thank goodness. Damon did you right, and I'm sure you are looking torward the future with Mr Stoudamire. Good. The Raptors are 15-44 and are playing for expansion pride. They can at least say they are not the worst team in there conference like their Canadian counterparts the Grizzlies. Isiah, take a note.. flowers and nice card to John Lucas and the 76ers.
