A bit of History
Astolat Lady Harlequin
She is the CHW that Connie Hubbard bought from Betty Whelen in about 1935. This bitch is behind every modern sheltie today through her great grandson's Ch Timberidge Temptation ROM, CH Prince George O'Page's Hill ROM and CH Frigate's Emblem Of Astolot ROM.  For the 1983-84 list of Champions, Lady Harlequin's great grandsons "Temptation" and "Prince George" accounted for the male tail ancestry of 357 of the 371 Champions for those years.All ROM dogs and bitches can be traced back to her except for a handful that were original imports or born before or at the same time as "Lady Harlequin" There are only 8 males and 12 bitches on the ROM list that do not trace to her.
Astolot Snowbird
She was owned by Connie Hubbard who was the founder of the WSSA and the first CHW to be registerd.
This isnt a CHW but was taken on the Shetland Island in the 1930's.
This was found by a friend in the Shetland Islands in some old photos. No markings on it at all.
Tobacco card  not sur of the date but was in the early  1900's
