Shadowed Wolf

The Wolf sits,
Slowly looking around
Not doing much
Merely pondering

Wondering the Next Move
When to Strike next -
How Deep to Cut
And how many to Snare

She sits quietly
Hidden in the corner
Deadly thoughts about
Tasting Blood to come

Her eyes grow dark
And she crouches low
Hatred fills the air
And Darkness surrounds

Drawing back slowly,
Baring her Fangs
And ready to Pounce
Snarling she Runs

Almost to her Prey,
She stops -
A Lone Wolf looks
And Captivates her

Her muscles relax,
And calmness comes
He sees and nears slowly
Bearing a Yellow Rose

Wolf and Wolf,
They sit together
Calmly staring
Neither believing

Shadowed Wolf -
Coming out to Play
Sees another
And begs him to stay
