THE SPANISH ALPHABET

Notice in the Spanish alphabet the differences from the English alphabet.  So that you can learn how to pronounce the names of the letters in Spanish, I have written beside each letter how to pronounce it, based on how you would understand sounds in English.  Upper-cased parts indicate the part that is stressed (gets the emphasis).  It is useful to know the alphabet for a number of reasons.  For example, if someone needs to know how to spell your name, you are able to do it, or, if you want to know how to spell something in Spanish, you can understand the letters as a Spanish speaker will tell them to you!
